The Dashboard

The Dashboard is a snapshot of your important data in easy-to-read graphics.

MyGeotab has a variety of options for the default home page – one of these is called the Dashboard. Think of it as a snapshot of what is important in your fleet all in one place.

The Dashboard shows you key events and behaviors across your fleet using easy-to-read graphics. By default, there are some important reports already selected to show you, but you can also pick and choose which ones you want to see. That way, you can customize it to fit exactly what you need.

You can do the following on the Dashboard:

  • Add charts to surface the metrics that matter most to you

  • Download reports based on the charts you've added to your dashboard

  • Set up scheduled emailed reports based on the charts you've added to your dashboard

  • Filter the page to show data from specific groups within your fleet

If you are a new user, you can preview sample data on your Dashboard. These interactive charts are provided to show the types of charts and data that can be gathered and displayed. Once you have your data in the application, these charts will automatically update with your data. To hide sample data, click Hide sample data.

Interactive charts

With our interactive charts, you are in control of how you see and interact with your data on your Dashboard. If a chart is interactive, you can select the data on the graph to view the pre-filtered report data in MyGeotab.

Chart options

Chart options allow you to set up the charts on your dashboard to meet your needs. They're accessed through the More actions menu in the top right corner of each chart card.

Chart options allow you to:

  • Download charts directly from the dashboard

  • Remove charts from the dashboard

  • Edit charts to update the data they show

  • Set up email schedules to send the chart report to specified users

  • Manage who can see which charts on the dashboard in your database

  • View more information about particular charts

Any chart that runs on rules will also show the option to view or edit the rules powering the chart. You can click the rules to adjust them based on your fleet's needs.
