Routes

Routes are set paths for your vehicles that help you track productivity. They analyze arrival and departure times, stop durations, and how closely a vehicle follows a route.

The Routes feature lets you create routes for your vehicles by adding waypoints, times, and stop durations. Once a route is created, you can assign it to a vehicle by making a planned route.

In MyGeotab, you build routes by connecting a series of zones to form a path. You can customize routes to fit your needs by changing zone sizes, reordering waypoints, and creating either point-to-point or circuit sequences.

MyGeotab offers two route types: planned and unplanned. Unplanned routes are preset stop sequences that can act as templates. You can use them to create planned routes for specific vehicles to complete at specific times.

This feature also includes reports to help you analyze your fleet's productivity and efficiency.
Note: If you have the Advanced Routing subscription, the Routes feature in MyGeotab is renamed to Basic Routing.
