Area Activity

Area Activity searches allow fleet managers to quickly identify all vehicles active in a given location at a given time.

The Area Activity feature is a map-based tool that lets you identify which vehicles were active in a specific location during a specific time window. It also lets you track any events that took place in a particular area at a given time.

Area Activity is helpful when you need to answer questions such as:
  • Which vehicles were in this area today?

  • Was one of our drivers near an incident that took place at this location?

  • What safety events happened at this address last week?

You can answer these questions directly on the Map using the Area Activity feature. Once you specify the location you want to search, you can see:
  • A list of vehicles active in the area during the selected time window

  • Trip details inside the area, such as stops, idle time, and movement

  • Safety events tied to each vehicle, such as speeding, harsh braking, and collisions

Note:

Area Activity searches are limited to three calendar days. If you select a longer date range, the system will automatically shorten the range to the most recent three days. Searches cannot exceed an area greater than 45 km in width and height on the map.
