Jobber integration overview

The Jobber integration connects a MyGeotab fleet management database with Jobber, a field service management tool used by home and field service businesses.

Once connected, the integration enables vehicle location and status data to flow from MyGeotab into Jobber. This allows dispatchers and fleet managers to coordinate field operations without switching between platforms.

Note: The Jobber integration is available to all MyGeotab customers at no additional cost.

An active Jobber account is required before completing this procedure. To sign up, visit getjobber.com.

  1. Click the Profile icon in the top toolbar and select System Settings.
  2. Click the Connections tab.
  3. Under Available Connections, locate the Jobber card and click Connect.
  4. In the Jobber authorization popup, sign in to the Jobber account and approve the data sharing request.

Known limitations of the Jobber integration

The following limitations apply to the Jobber integration in its current release.

LimitationDetails
Single Jobber account per database

Each MyGeotab database supports one Jobber connection at a time. Multi-account connections are not available in this release.

No connection status notifications

MyGeotab does not send email or in-app notifications when an integration connects or disconnects. Monitor connection status from the Connection tab.

Non-Geotab or no-VIN assets excluded

Assets without a decodable VIN, and third-party non-Geotab hardware, are not created in Jobber and their telemetry is not shared. No error is shown in MyGeotab for excluded assets.
