Asking questions with Ace V3

Learn how to ask questions in Ace V3 using text, voice, entities, or images.

Simple questions can take a few seconds. Questions that need many steps, and reports, can take a minute or more.

  1. Select the Ask Ace message box.
  2. Type your question in your own words, then press Enter or select Send.
  3. To use a suggested question, select it. Ace creates suggestions from your recent activity.
  4. To find a specific asset, driver, group, rule, or zone, type @ and select the name. You can also select +, then Attach entity.
  5. To speak your question, select the microphone icon. To hear an answer, select Read aloud.
  6. To add an image, select +, then select Attach screenshots to add image files or Annotate screen to capture and draw on part of your screen.
  7. To stop an answer before it is complete, select Stop generating.
  8. After an answer, ask a follow-up question in the same conversation or select a suggested next step.
