How Ace V2 works

Learn how Ace V2 turns a question into a response using fleet data.

Ace V2 checks a question before it builds and runs a query. After the query runs, a reasoning engine turns the results into an answer.

1. The Audit Layer checks whether the question is valid and appropriate to process.

2. The Knowledge Layer identifies relevant questions and data schemas.

3. A large language model (LLM) creates a query for Google BigQuery (GBQ).

4. GBQ runs the query and sends the results to the Reasoning Engine, which creates a response.

If the Audit Layer rejects a question or the generated query is unsuitable, Ace stops and indicates that it can't provide an answer.

Geotab processes data used by Ace under the Geotab Privacy Policy.
