How to view and categorize trips in Geotab Drive.

You can categorize your driving as either Business or Personal. This is usually done for expense claims, tax benefit calculations, or company drive logs.
Note: Geotab Drive will notify you about any trips that are not categorized, but categorization is optional.

Viewing trips

How to view trips in Geotab Drive.

You can view all trips you've made.
  1. On the main dashboard, tap Trips.
  2. On the Trips page, you'll see a list of all trips you've taken, along with the time, distance, and vehicle. Tap arrows at the top to move between days.

Categorizing trips

How to categorize trips in Geotab Drive.

  1. On the main dashboard, tap Trips.
  2. For each trip, tap either Business or Personal.
  3. Enter a comment/explanation in the text box. This is optional by default, but can be made mandatory by your admin.
  4. Tap Save.
Note that you can edit any existing trip's info by tapping the pencil icon.
