Selecting and removing vehicles and trailers

How to select and deselect/remove vehicles and trailers in Geotab Drive.

You're always asked to add a vehicle and trailers while logging in - see here for the login workflow. However, once you're logged in, you can manage vehicles and trailers at any time from the app's main dashboard.
  1. On the app's main dashboard, tap the vehicle icon.

    What you see on the next page depends on whether vehicles and trailers are already selected.

  2. If no vehicle is selected, tap Select vehicle. You can search for a vehicle using the search bar, or select one from the list of nearby and recently selected vehicles.
  3. If a vehicle is already selected, you can tap the X to remove it, and then either select another vehicle as described above, or tap No vehicle to use the app without a vehicle (for example, to edit duty status logs).
  4. If no trailers are selected, tap the + to add them. You can search for trailers using the search bar, or select them from the list of nearby and recently chosen trailers. If your trailer doesn't already exist in your database, you can create it by entering a name in the text field and then tapping Add.
  5. If any trailers are already selected, you can remove them by tapping the X as shown in the screenshot above.
Once you're done managing your vehicles and trailers, tap the arrow at the top left to go back to the dashboard.
