Logging out

How to log out of Geotab Drive.

Logging out of Geotab Drive also unpairs you from your vehicle. Note for ELD/HOS drivers: trips made while logged out are still recorded by the vehicle's telematics device, but are not assigned to a driver.
  1. On the main dashboard, tap your name at the top right and then tap Log out.
  2. If your vehicle has a paired trailer, you can keep it paired by tapping Save and continue or unpair it by tapping the X next to the trailer name.
  3. Some extra actions may be needed based on your activity while using the app.

    • Complete an asset inspection (if the paired vehicle moved while you were logged in)

    • Set your duty status (for drivers that record HOS)

    • Verify your logs (for drivers that record HOS)

    • Confirm active exemptions (for drivers that record HOS)

Once all required actions are done, you'll be logged out of Geotab Drive.
