Repairing defects

How to mark identified defects as repaired in Geotab Drive

This workflow requires an admin to provide you with the proper clearance. It is mainly intended for mechanics or drivers to mark a vehicle as safe after any problems are repaired.
  1. On the main dashboard, a red bar below the inspection tile shows if a vehicle or trailer has flagged defects. Tap Asset inspection.
  2. On the Asset Inspection screen, tap Repair beside the vehicle or trailer with the defect.
  3. Select the resolution (Not repaired, Repaired or not a defect, or Repair not necessary for safe operation of the vehicle) and add a remark with a detailed explanation.
  4. Once all defects have been resolved, tap Save.
