How to certify a previous inspection with flagged defects in Geotab Drive.
If the vehicle has unresolved defects identified in a previous inspection, you must review the previous inspection so you know about the vehicle's defects and certify that the vehicle is safe to drive.- On the Previous inspection screen, tap Expand previous inspection to see details about what problems were identified with the vehicle.
- For each defect, you can choose if it's still Not repaired, if it's Repaired or not a defect, or if Repair not necessary for safe operation of the vehicle.
Note: For Canadian rulesets, minor defects can be carried over to future inspections. Also, when the minor defect is repaired, all past inspections are retroactively marked as repaired.
- Tap either Save or Certify previous inspection if all defects were resolved.
