GO Focus Plus and GO device
The GO Focus Plus Smart Cable connects the GO Focus Plus to a Geotab GO9 or GO9 RUGGED, supporting a range of cable topologies.

GO Focus Plus Smart Cable specifications
The GO Focus Plus Smart Cable draws 1 A from the IOX BUS at 12 V, leaving 1.5 A available for other connected IOX devices.
The GO device supplies a maximum power output of 2.5 A at 12 V (or 1.25 A at 24 V) to the IOX BUS. Since the GO Focus Plus consumes 1 A at 12 V, the total current draw for all other connected IOX devices must not exceed 1.5 A.
The total cable length must not exceed 5 m / 16 ft. The GO Focus Plus must be the last device in the IOX daisy chain.

The GO Focus Plus Smart Cable provides a direct 3 m / 10 ft connection between the GO Focus Plus and the Geotab GO9, suitable for most cars and vans.

GO9 with Extension Cable
An IOX Extension Cable extends the cable run to 5 m / 16 ft, suitable for larger vehicles or vehicles with the GO9 positioned further from the windshield.
An extension cable is suitable for larger vehicles and increases the cable run to 5 m / 16 ft. The GO9 connects to an extension cable which connects to the GO Focus Plus Smart Cable. The GO Focus Plus Smart Cable is then connected to the GO Focus Plus.
The Geotab IOX Extension Cable offers a 2 m / 6 ft extension between the GO Focus Plus and the Geotab GO9, allowing for a 5 m / 16 ft total cable run.

The Geotab GO9 RUGGED requires a 6-way IOX Harness to connect to the GO Focus Plus Smart Cable and does not support other IOX add-ons.
The GO9 RUGGED connects to the GO Focus Plus Smart Cable which connects to the GO Focus Plus. The Geotab GO9 RUGGED requires a 6-way IOX Harness to connect the GO Focus Plus Smart Cable IOX. The Geotab GO9 RUGGED does not support any other IOX add-ons.

GO9 IOX add-ons
The GO Focus Plus supports IOX add-ons on the IOX BUS, provided the GO Focus Plus is last in the daisy chain and bus limitations are not exceeded.
The Geotab GO9 has a rich ecosystem of IOX add-ons. The GO Focus Plus supports IOX add-ons on the IOX BUS with the following conditions:
- IOX BUS maximum length: 5 m / 16 ft
- IOX BUS maximum current: 2.5 A
- GO Focus Plus must be last on the IOX BUS
