Drive App is not saving trips when users allocate/categorise them. Also, not able to access FBT on the My Geotab site under add-ins, keep getting the spinning wheel &amp; have to do a forced shutdown.  Is there a specific security clearance that needs to be selected for users to access FBT in My Geotab? Thanks.

Hi, if it was me, I'd create 2 custom rules &amp; trial it on a couple of assets first. Once the zone has been created, go to RULES and ADD RULE. Under CONDITIONS select the relevant zone and choose ENTERING ZONE as the condition. Set the rule to apply from the time the staff member is expected to arrive home, for example 4.30pm. Assign the rule to the relevant asset and add an email notification when the vehicle enters the zone. eg: &quot;vehicle 12345 has arrived at it's home zone at 4.33pm&quot; Set up a second rule for when the vehicle does not arrive a the expected time. configure this rule to identify vehicles that have not entered the home zone by the nominated time and set up a 'CHECK VEHICLE' alert notification. This should tell you when the vehicle has arrived home safely and an alert when it has not arrived as expected &amp; you can check on the driver. You would have to create separate rules for each zone location &amp; associated asset - Copy &amp; Paste only changing zone &amp; asset name.

Can I link a specific asset with a specific zone so I can create a report telling me when that vehicle is not in its "Home" zone?

A few thoughts... When you first installed was the engine off or was the engine running then you installed? I always install the Go9 with the engine off then turn ignition on and wait for the lights to come to life. Could it possibly be the harness isn't compatible with the Go10 &amp; the Ford?

That could be why it's only displaying the odometer reading. Is the harness the correct one for the year model of the F450 &amp; could it possibly be classified as a 'heavy-duty' vehicle given the size (different harness)??? I found this on support page. https:&#x2F;&#x2F;support.geotab.com&#x2F;en-GB&#x2F;harnesses&#x2F;installation&#x2F;doc&#x2F;harness-identify I'm sure they'll publish more info - might pay to submit a feedback form as well 🙂 Goodluck.

If an asset is stopped (ignition off) but not isolated on the battery&#x2F;power, what data will it still be recording? Could it possibly be giving an idling read due to the isolator being off &amp; falsely thinking that the ignition is actually on? Go9&#x2F;harness device direct to OMB.

Hi Eishi, thanks for the response. I would agree with you that it is possibly a bug as the drivers have been able to allocate &amp; save trips in the past. My reseller has raised a ticket but would appreciate support taking another look at it. Cheers, Brooke

I installed a normal Go9 unit &amp; the 16 pin T-Harness supplied by GT in our 2025 517 Sprinter &amp; can read engine data directly. Some vehicles have 2 obd ports, maybe it's simply plugged into the wrong one?

Is there any Geotab documentation available on the installation of a harness to obtain engine data from a 2026 Mercedes Benz Sprinter unit?

Hi Jill, Could it be that your computer is automatically clearing the cache &amp; that is causing your view to reset?
