If i have a Geotab NFC card reader but do not enable driver identification reminder but a driver scans in their fob does the driver get held in the go device indefinitely?

Thank you for asking your question in our community. If the "Driver Identification Reminder" is turned off, and a driver scans their NFC fob, the driver will remain associated with the vehicle until another fob is scanned or a new driver is assigned via MyGeotab or the Geotab Drive app. The driver will not be automatically disassociated after the ignition is turned off. If the "Driver Identification Reminder" is turned on, the driver will remain associated for the specified time period (e.g., 30 seconds) after the ignition is turned off. After this time, the driver will be automatically unassigned.
