Hi @INACTIVE - Francisco Núñez

I think what you are referencing can be done by selecting "Not Visible" on the name tab of the exception rule edit screen. This will hide the rule from the map and trip history, but will still show when pulling an exception report.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Hi,

We already configurated an exception rule, but that alarm remains in the trip history and doesn't delete it from it, there's a way to do this?

Hello @INACTIVE - Francisco Núñez !

If you edit the conditions of the rule you'll see and advertisement once you try to save the changes, and the exceptions before the change are going to be deleted.

Note: The main issue is that we are not able to choose which exceptions are going to be eliminated (all the exceptions of this rule are going to disappear), probably because what we want as users is to keep the trustability of the information and prevent the intentional change/manipulation of the information we're seeing.

But also, if you want to see the past exceptions with the new conditions of the rule, you just have to reprocess the data of the vehicle(s).

It could be different from what are you looking for, but hope it helps, best regards!

Thanks Matt,

You hit the spot!

Best Regards

Great, glad to hear it!

Hello!

You just have to go to Rules and groups > Rules > Select the desired rule and change the conditions (any change on the conditions, just to delete the created exceptions of the past, then you can return to the original conditions). And just to remind you the importance of this, all the exceptions (events or "alarms") of the rule are going be erased.

If you have another question please let me know it, also, is always helpful to contact to the Geotab Support Team to check if there is another option.

Best regards!
