It is not directly connected to advanced routing at this time but anything is possible to integrate!Q: Right now the process of adding the routing app is slow, is there any way to speed it up?A: We haven't seen this as a common issue, as the routing app download is typically a one-time setup step. It may be worth reaching out to our Optimization Support team at optimizationsupport@geotab.com so they can review your environment and help identify what might be causing the delay.Q: For advanced routing it is billed by device—is that active devices that used the routing each month or all devices in the database?A: Advanced Routing is billed per device enrolled in routing (licensed devices), not all devices in the database. For example, if you allocate 10 of your 100 devices to routing, you are billed for 10 devices and can use routing for those 10 vehicles.📡 The Next-Gen in Asset TrackingQ: How does the high frequency activate when on the movement mode?A: High Frequency Mode/Update (HFU) is initiated after the MyG command is issued upon the next device update. A GO Anywhere Plus (GA+) in Movement: Delayed mode will receive the HFU command at midnight of the day the HFU is activated.A GA+ in Movement: Immediate Mode will receive the HFU command when it detects a valid Trip Start and report every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes.GO Anywhere Next Gen does not have a movement mode—in HFU, it will simply update every 15 minutes (stationary or moving).

I have data in an excel spreadsheet that I need to import into Geotab.  I am having trouble with the date/time format.  The error message I get requires the format to be in the following:yyyy-mm-ddTHH:mm:sszI add this format in my excel file, but I still get the error.  Any suggestions?

Hi All,  I have had a customer ask the below: Where will the data be stored and what security measures will be applied to it. Will the provider have access to the data? They are referring to all data tracking and video. Hi fellow Geotabbers! Currently, when I try to open certain event videos on the Events page in MyGeotab, they appear as "Video Unavailable." &gt; I've noticed that for these specific events, although a thumbnail image is visible, the usual "GIF" preview does not play when I hover over it. This is different from the events that work correctly, where the preview plays and the video opens normally. The trip was less than 48 hours ago and the camera detected some Events. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I am currently extracting RPM values using the following logic:Filtering by trips (real driving intervals)Applying a physical filter (removing noise, e.g., values outside 50–4000 RPM)Resampling to 1‑minute intervals to approximate the UI behaviorPerforming a final cleanup of low outliersThis process produces consistent results; however, I have observed that certain values do not fully align with those presented in the MyGeotab interface. The discrepancies are minor but noticeable, with some offsets.My questions are:Does MyGeotab apply any internal filtering, normalization, or aggregation to raw diagnostic data (such as RPM or speed) before presenting it in the interface? If so, could you clarify the process or criteria used?On occasion, I encounter speed values that exceed what would normally be expected under typical driving conditions. I understand that such anomalies could potentially be influenced by temporary GPS signal loss from the GO device. Could you please clarify why these spikes occur and whether signal loss is a typical contributing factor?
