Hi All, just checking, is it possible to add Maintenance Reminder Rules via the SDK? We've had the question asked by a client and I don't have a lot of experience with the SDK and I just want to 100% sure on the answer before we go back to them.

I don't think the FBT add-in supports auto-categorisation, it's a Tax Office requirement that Business trips are manually categorised with an annotation. If it does do auto-categorisation then it could be a problem.

Putting assets in Business mode during standard work hours

<a href="/user/matej-sinkcufar-1036" data-id="1036" data-value="Matej-1036" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@Matej-1036</a>  Would the Time Card report work for this use case? If you add the Trip Duration and Idle Duration column together it should be almost the same as the engine hours.

Adding location data to Advanced Engine Status Report

<a href="/user/rogelio-reyesrobledo-10434" data-id="10434" data-value="RReye-10434" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@RReye-10434</a> I don't know for sure, but I have a vague memory that the IOX-Output uses Geotab's Message system under the hood, so try turning on Send Messages and see if that works?<img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/069Pd000018vJP0IAM.png" alt="2026-06-17 09_01_42-Edit Security Clearance _ PowerfleetGeotab — Original profile — Mozilla Firefox" />

Which permission or function access needs to be granted for a user to access the IOX Output Add-In and successfully use the “Send” button?

The group part is going to be really difficult if you don't have sub-groups for all your vehicles, as if you include a higher group (or in Company Group) it'll automatically include the sub-groups. You might need to create separate rules for each "level" in your grouping structure.

Best practices to scale Speeding Rules across multiple Groups and Zone Types without redundancy

I think Eishi's on the right track, I think it can be done with a single rule. Below is an example that we use for speeding that uses several nested AND OR conditions. You'll need to adapt it to have the groups included for each instance but it should work. <code>DurationLongerThan[time=5s](
 Or(
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=15.27m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=11km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b11C]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=20.83m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=15km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b11B]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=34.72m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=25km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b11E]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=48.61m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=35km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b116]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=62.5m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=45km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b117]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=76.38m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=55km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b119]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=90.27m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=65km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b118]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=104.16m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=75km/h](
 Speed
 ),
 InsideArea[zoneType=b11F]
 )
 ),
 DistanceLongerThan[distance=118.05m](
 And(
 IsValueMoreThan[value=85km/h](

 DistanceLongerThan[distance=131.94m](

I always assumed that it used the Centroid for the label as I used to sometimes see the label floating miles away from the zone for roads that had a significant curve to them. That doesn't seem to be the case any more though, I just double checked some zones with a similar shape and they all have the label inside part of the zone now. I can't see obvious rhyme or reason where the label shows up though, some of them are towards the top and some at the bottom.

Zone label placement logic

It looks like it's been rolled into the Camera Status column. It makes it a lot harder to see devices that aren't working to be honest.<img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/069Pd000011pl74IAA.png" alt="2026-04-27 14_13_30-Assets — Original profile — Mozilla Firefox" />

Camera Health Insights

<a href="/user/daniel-ramirez-6175" data-id="6175" data-value="DONG-6175" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@****-6175</a> Check the engine measurements for the "Accelerometer calibrated (1. Calibrated)" logs. If it's going to 0 then it means it's not calibrated and if it's 1 then it calibrated. Ideally you'd want to see it go to 0 after the power up and going to 1 after a few trips.<img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/069Pd00001126hzIAA.png" alt="2026-04-20 09_33_46-Measurements _ MyGeotab — Original profile — Mozilla Firefox" />

Is there a way in MyGeotab to know if the accelerometer reset was successful?

If you do it that way, I think the issue that you'll run into is that once it's inverted it'll start saying it's off while it's actually sweeping. The best result would be to get Aux 1 triggering correctly while sweeping, do you know why it's staying on when it's not supposed to?

This sounds really good, if you do post it in the Feedback Hub, post the link here so I can upvote it.
