About
When installers complete a job in the field, vehicle information captured on-site is not always immediately reflected in your system. This includes details like the vehicle name, make, model, year, license plate, and asset type. Without a structured review workflow, the digital twin of the vehicle in your platform can drift from the actual state of the asset in the real world. Previously, fleet managers lacked a centralized way to review, approve, or reject these installer-captured changes.
The Review Pending Installations page (previously known as the Installation Pending Changes page) is now fully stable, supported, and generally available by default. This page closes the gap between field execution and platform records, giving fleet managers a dedicated space to oversee physical hardware deployments.
This release moves the review workflow out of Preview and introduces key improvements to streamline asset updates:
Centralized installation review: You can view all pending installation records submitted by field installers from a single dashboard. Managers can accept or reject proposed changes with a single click, eliminating manual data entry.
Proactive asset page notifications: A new notification banner appears on the Assets page by default whenever new installation records are waiting for review. You can disable this banner at any time by navigating to Options > System Communication and turning off the New installation record notification (Assets page) toggle.

Asset type column: The review table now displays the installer-submitted asset type alongside other vehicle details. This allows managers to approve or reject proposed asset categorizations as part of the standard review workflow.

Fleet data accuracy directly impacts reporting, compliance, and operational trust. By allowing you to verify data at the point of installation, this page ensures your digital twin always matches your physical fleet. It eliminates the need for tedious manual data entry and reduces downstream reporting errors caused by incorrect vehicle profiles. This platform-level enhancement is included with your subscription at no additional cost.
The Review Pending Installations page will roll out gradually over a two-week period starting in July 2026. The platform will automatically remove the internal beta feature flag, making the page visible by default to all users with the InstallRecord permission. If you participated in the beta, the system will preserve your existing notification preferences automatically. Learn more about using the Review Pending Installations feature.
