I use either the IFTA report for odometer and milage, or the fleet utilization report. Both work well.   BTW....don't let the name IFTA keep you from using this report. It works perfect for local &amp; instate travel regardless of vehicle type.

I have a very large client base, ranging up to 500 vehicles in a fleet, and this has never been an issue. If your GPS has uncovered an illegal activity, I would say it did it's job. Perhaps your employees should be aware that it is illegal to manufacture, sell, or use a GPS jamming devices. Here's one example: "The FCC said an aircraft tracking system at Newark Liberty International Airport experienced interference from a GPS jamming device used by a Readington man who claimed he was simply trying to hide his whereabouts from his employer. Why is it so easy to GPS Jam a Geotab GO9 Device (and how can I programmatically detect this)?

Yes, in the Rules Menu you can create a rule to monitor for ignition status. You'll find the ignition in the Measurements menu. Ignition On= 1 Off= 0. I would assign a duration to the On such as Ignition &gt; 0 with a duration &gt; the 1 minute. By adding a duration you can eliminate unnecessary short ignition cycles that most likely won't involve a trip. ie. moving the vehicle from the gas pump to a parking spot to grab a coffee. : )

Can I be notified when a vehicle is turned on and off in MyGeotab?

You'll have to have your Geotab reseller terminate the device. You can remove it from your fleet list, however that does not remove it from billing.

How to terminate GO device?

A heavy truck can have an engine odometer and a chassis odometer. The chassis shows how many miles the truck has gone and the engine odometer reports how many miles are on the engine. I believe we are reporting the engine miles via the ECM.

Why would an engine have two different odometer values on its different ECMs?

Hi Joy,If it's a heavy truck that is posting an incorrect odometer reading, then it's probable that the ECM was replaced at some point and was never re-calibrated to match the odometer in the vehicle. Also there are certain Freightliners in 2002-04 era that might require a firmware update to grab the odometer.. If you will provide the make model and year, we might have a more information.

Hi d_578: Very easy.....Go to &gt; Reports &gt; Audit Log &gt; select options near top of page, pick date range &gt; Type of Audit &gt; Select Users .....apply changes. This is a fantastic feature that Geotab offers and is probably often overlooked. Good luck
