Hi, great question and a common challenge for fleets with staggered service intervals. Thank you for bringing it up here in our community.
Unfortunately MyGeotab's Maintenance module doesn't currently support dependent service scheduling. So there's no built-in way to make the B service automatically trigger X km after the A service completes. Both services run independently from their own odometer counters, which is exactly the problem you're describing.
The best current workaround that I could think of:
When you mark a service as complete in MyGeotab, the system allows you to set the next due odometer reading at that point. You can use this to manually chain your services:
1. Set up both A and B services with their intervals as normal
2. When you complete the A service (e.g., at 40,000km), manually set the next B service due date to 40,000 + 60,000 = 100,000km at the time of completion
3. Repeat this each time the A service is completed recalculating and resetting the B service due reading from that point
It's not automatic, but it keeps both services in sync without needing to track it outside of MyGeotab.
On the roadmap:
Dependent and milestone-based scheduling where a service triggers once at a specific odometer reading or relative to another service is a recognized gap and is being explored for a future enhancement. If this is a pain point for your fleet, submitting feedback through the Provide Feedback option in MyGeotab or the feedback form at the bottom of this page is the best way to get it in front of the product team.
