Hello Geotab Team,

 

I need urgent assistance with a question regarding a Coast Fuel Card integration for one of our customers.

 

The customer previously integrated Coast Fuel Cards with Samsara, but we want them to transition to Geotab since they are using our dashcams.

 

The key question is: Does the Coast Fuel Card integration strictly require a Go9 device, or can we feed data from our dashcam into Geotab to enable the integration?

 

I have already contacted both Coast and Geotab, but there don't seem to be any clear brochures or documentation on this. Could you please confirm:

 

1. What is the best or only way to enable this integration?

2. Would a Go9 device + GoPlan license be mandatory for this, or is there a more cost-effective solution?

3. If an alternative method exists, what are the steps to integrate Coast Fuel Cards with Geotab?

 

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated so I can provide a clear answer to my customer.

BlueArrow Fuel should be able to handle this for you, we're integrated with Coast and I've reached out to Vishal directly on this too so hopefully we'll be able to solve this for your customer.

Hello @mmigu-2008​ ,

 

Thank you for asking your question in our community. As far as I have found this integration is completely managed by Coast and not by Geotab. So it would be best to talk with them about these questions. I think it would depend on what dashcams they are using and what coast integration looks like with that.
