YOUR ELECTRONIC LOGGING DEVICE INCLUDES DIAGNOSTICS AND MALFUNCTIONS. YOU MAY BE NON-COMPLIANT. This is on some but not all of my tablets at other locations. When I go to see what the malfunction is, there is nothing showing on the dashboard for the truck. And I also do not know if it has anything with my other issue of the "Pending changes for this device".  So, I don't know if I need to go Geotab way or e2 way. Anyone else have this happen?

"Your electronic logging device includes diagnostics and malfunctions. You may be non-compliant" error in Geotab Drive app

Near about all of my vehicles have this on my Geotab Drive dashboard.  "There are pending changes for this device. Changes are applied when the ignition is off and the vehicle has been stationary long enough for the updates to complete." I am not sure if this is the Geotab puck (unit), the Geotab program itself, or if it is the tablets that have been moved over to e2 that we need to verify all are working correctly on them.  I question what could be causing it because our trucks are shut down for a period of time that would enable an update to be completed, if I have the correct parameters for the program on each truck. DETAILED DEVICE INFOFirmware version: 0.27.49 parameter 8Work time: Standard hoursTime zone: America/New_YorkGO TALK language: EnglishTurn GPS receiver off: ImmediatelyPeriodically wake GPS: OnHours of service (HOS): AutomaticEnable USB data transfer: OffHarsh brake delta speed: 11 mphTurn external device off: 10 MinutesAutomatic vehicle management: Enable Am I missing something obvious or do I need to escalate this? Thank you in Advance!Tracie

"Pending changes for this device" What does MyGeotab mean by this?

I have a truck that was installed approximately 2 weeks ago. All was fine until last night. My driver called at 2am and said the truck was not populating within the list of available trucks. I located the number and saw there serial number of the unit was zero'd out. I was successful in talking him through getting the truck back in our database, but it still does not answer why it happened in the first place.

Why is my Geotab serial number reverting to zero's after several weeks installed?

Thank you! This actually helps me tremendously! My position in the company is to manage the vehicles and the ELD system itself. If I lose data from the unit, my drivers logs are wrong!  I have been shown how to archive the vehicles. Especially when we have a sub unit come in. And I have noticed 2 of my vehicles showing the "formerly" name. Still need to figure that out as they are vehicles in my out of town terminals.

Here's the thing, some of my vehicles do have it enabled, then some are not enabled. I had my driver use the Ryder ELD service icon we have on our tablets to put the truck back in the system so he could use it. Now I have TWO trucks with the same number, one with the serial number one without. I can't find any history on the without, probably because it was "removed". I'm really not sure.  Should all of my vehicles have the Automatic vehicle management enabled?
