The historical view currently used by the Cold Chain solution is the Engine Data Profile, which was designed for engine diagnostics data rather than Cold Chain use cases. Being part of a separate solution has limited the features that could be developed specifically for Cold Chain. Fleet managers have been unable to visualize safe temperature ranges in the graph, generate native proof of delivery documents, or view temperature data in a way that clearly highlights when cargo falls outside of safe ranges. MyGeotab is introducing a dedicated Cold Chain History page to replace the Engine Data Profile as the historical view for the Cold Chain solution.

The new Cold Chain History page gives fleet managers a more accurate and intuitive way to review historical temperature data, generate compliance documentation, and quickly identify periods where cargo fell outside of safe temperature ranges, all within a single dedicated view in MyGeotab.

The page displays safe temperature zone ranges directly in the graph component, defined by the threshold values set in Cold Chain rules, giving fleet managers an at-a-glance view of any period where cargo temperature fell outside the safe range. The graph has also been improved to better handle missing or stale data, ensuring temperature readings are represented accurately rather than carrying forward the last known value as the Engine Data Profile previously did. Fleet managers can now also generate a native PDF proof of delivery document directly from the page, confirming that temperature-sensitive cargo remained within the specified safe range throughout transportation.
