Viewing and verifying collisions

Viewing and verifying collisions! Let's get started. Navigate to the Events page in MyGeotab by either clicking Groups & Rules, then Events, or searching for Events in the menu. The Filters menu opens by default. Choose the date range you want to review so the collision results reflect the appropriate period. Select the Assets involved in the collision to narrow the results and locate the correct events. Search for and select both collision rules to include Major and Minor collision events in the results. When ready, click Apply to display the matching collision events. After the Events report generates, click the asset name to open its collision event details and continue verifying the event. Select the event you want to verify to open its details and review the available collision information. Open the Verify collision dropdown to review the available verification options for the collision event. Respond to each prompt using the available event details. Select Yes only when the information confirms that a collision occurred. Choose the option that accurately reflects whether the asset was towed after the collision. Confirm that each response accurately reflects the collision event before submitting. Your answers complete the collision verification. After you submit the verification, the Event status updates to reflect the outcome. In this example, the collision is verified as Valid. Congratulations!
