Hi everyone! I'd like to know if anyone knows what the 'Engine data (0 = inactive / 1 = active)' measurement means and what it could be used for. Does anyone have more info on this? Thanks in advance!

Hello @mrosa-1979

I hope this information helps.

This is a digital switch that the GO device reads directly from the vehicle's CAN bus (computer):

0 (Inactive / Off): The function is off or the condition is not met.

1 (Active / On): The function is on or the condition is being met.

Depending on the vehicle model, this measurement may refer to the ignition status or, more commonly, the status of the power take-off (PTO) clutch or the air conditioning compressor.

Hi @mrosa-1979

According to this, that diagnosis indicates whether the vehicle's engine data is active or not.

You could use it as a rule to determine whether or not the telemetry data generated by the vehicle's engine is sending information, which would allow you to detect any possible faults associated with the car's computer.
