Hi I think the easiest way is to create a group and link units and the rule you want to apply, it's not necessary to create two groups

Rule apply to all vehicles except 1 group

Hi, could you help me by providing which version of the database you are using to display these results?

Lost ability to search comments in users/drivers

Hi @HLui-1390 , Dane from Whip Around here! We are an integrated marketplace solution specializing in custom DVIR functionality. I saw your post and I think this may be something we can help with. Our app ties the driver inspection to the vehicle itself so multiple drivers can access it for things like yard moves without triggering additional missed inspection alerts. If I can answer any questions, feel free to reach out! My contact information is on my profile.

DVIR missed inspection rule and report issue

Has anyone else experienced this issue with their IOX-NFC readers where the reader is going online and offline hundreds of times per day. This looks like a recent issue and it causes the driver reminders to constantly go off and the NFC fobs do not work. Below is the NFC device connected measurement over the last 2 days.

Hello does anyone know if there is a way to export the installation history for assets? under Assets>Device and Settings we can see the installation history for a vehicle but instead of checking them one at a time is there a way to export it? This helps me verify invoices for installations and to make sure that vendors are checking the installs are good before signing off.

Exporting installation history from MyGeotab?

I have a scenario where a vehicle completed their pre-trip inspection in the morning at 8:27am but a missed pre-trip exception was generated at 3pm. I'm currently using the pre-trip rule below. Is the duration set too low? 8 hours is the default but i want to check that a pre-trip is done at least once a day so should i increase the duration to 16 hours?

I have some supervisors in a supervisor clearance level and they are unable to save map views in the map. I checked the clearances and they have configure map views checked on but there seems to be other options that need to be enabled in order to save map views. Does anyone have any idea which options need to be checked on?

saved map views clearances question

Hello maybe this has been asked before but is there a guide to what all the security clearance options do? I am making some new clearances and there are options like below Create data extract keyCreate backup keyAccess time-to-change complete api I have no idea what any of these options do or how they interact with different access.

Security Clearance guide for all options?

If i have a Geotab NFC card reader but do not enable driver identification reminder but a driver scans in their fob does the driver get held in the go device indefinitely?

I agree, there was nothing wrong with the old trips history page. If a vehicle has a trip with a driver and then unknown driver it groups them as 2 separate trip cards out of chronological order. Also when I use trips history before it would bring up the last trip the vehicle took, now it only shows you the trips in the date range.

@Andrew I've already sent feedback on trips history, the way it is i really hope they don't disable the old trips history format. This new format does not work well. Sure its got some new features but it silos information into different blocks and you cant see all the details holistically.

@PBala-10053 I agree with @ssartor that the IOX-AUXM would be the best bet in recording if your sweeper is on and if your PTO was running. Another thing to check is if you do a full measurement check on your vehicle because some vehicles with built in PTOs actually have the PTO on or off measurement built in.

@ShaytaRS-1315 What's useful is if I have a list of vehicles selected and i have the date range for today it shows me the last trip that was made for all selected vehicles. What this helps with is if i want to know when was the last time a vehicle was driven for the selected vehicles, if one vehicle was last driven 3 months ago i don't want to select a last 3 month date range in order to find that information out.

I know the new Go10 has an internal battery and there's and IOX battery that can keep a Go device running even after being disconnected but otherwise there's no way an unpowered Go device can give you an exception that it has been unplugged.

Is it possible to create a notification when a GO device loses communication?

In mygeotab I used to be able to search notes that i entered into the comments box for drivers / users. But recently when i search in the search box nothing comes up. Was this feature removed?

@Andrew yes but the issue is if there were multiple drivers in the same vehicle it still splits the trips between drivers, we want to see all trips organized chronologically under the same vehicle

@CHawl-7693 I'd set the settings as seen below this will make it so the device will remember the previous driver scan in for 30 seconds after ignition off. It will also beep for 60 seconds after ignition on. <img class="ql-image" Driver ID settings question

@RReye-10434 Hi thanks for the comment, just like the device has been unplugged rule creates an exception after the device is reconnected any fault diagnostic will only work once the device is replugged in and powered up again.

Is there a way to apply a rule to all vehicles and exclude 1 group from the rule. I don't want to have to create 2 new groups and apply a group to the included vehicles and apply the other group to the excluded vehicles.
