Does anyone know of a way for a driver to report an accident in Geotab other than the DVIR? maybe an add-in to the Geotab drive application? They have collision reconstruction, but looking for a driver tool to have to report to insurance etc.  thank you!

I have seen several dodge trucks that have issues pulling data due to the dodge software itself. I asked about this at Connect 2020 and they said they were working on it.

If you go to Engine &amp; Device &gt; Measurements, you can click options, choose the vehicle &gt;unselect all (add Selected: Left turn signal (1 = on), Right turn signal (1 = on)) then apply. This example was with wipers, it will show what times the wipers on for any given day. *Disclaimer, some vehicles do not show this data. It depends on the trim level of the vehicle. If a stop is over 200 seconds it should show on the trip history. If you go to maps, trip history, it should list each stop over 200 seconds as a trip. You can then click the little arrow in the middle right area and open the map. Custom stops rules would not appear here but would show in exceptions.

Stops over 200 seconds should show on the trip history. If you add a custom stop setting it would show as an exemption but may not show on the map.

Try going into your user and click on the UI tab and make sure the feature preview is on as well. There are a few little things that are available with that too.

<img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/0692J00000B4gf3QAB.png" alt="zone" />A couple of ways to do this: Import your customers address/name as a Zone into Geotab, (Zone import is super easy to use with Excel) and assign these zones a "Customer Zones". Once this is done, a simple trip history report would show the "Zone name" as a stop with the time at the zone. You can also create a rule when a driver enters or leaves a "customer zone" which would allow you to also run an exception report as well. You could use the exception report to feed to the API.

If you go to Engine &amp; Maintenance and click on DVIR, choose only defective and, select all units and apply changes. This will pull all open defect. Open and view info. Where it says repairs, input your info : Repaired by etc.. indicating you have repaired or repair was not necessary and leave a remark or work order #. Press the Repairs made or not necessary to save. You will then see a certify option. This is for the driver to certify as safe or unsafe to operate, but the unit will no longer show in the defective filter, It will show in only repaired.

How do I clear a maintenance defect or red X (Unsafe) to (Safe) in MyGeotab?

Is this unit a FORD or GM using the OEM as a device or an actual GO Device? I know the Ford and GM have a 30 second delay. (30 second ping rate) Like Tony said it could be a condition in the Rule set. Is the trail turning RED where he is speeding?

Thinking about it, you could put it in the comments on the trailers section, and then create a report- Not the best solution, but it is something. You could also set up a custom report using a pivot table to run 1 x a month to the dashboard that filters out what is due that month based off that column.
