With a lot of the documentation on the MyAdmin API being updated to V3, is there also a plan to update the runner and the Using With JavaScript downloads to be more V3 compliant?  This would allow testing pagination and other new features V3 is intended to provide.  Is there any possibility of having an API client similar to the Geotab JavaScript client (https://github.com/Geotab/mg-api-js) created for the MyAdmin APIs? While I know the possible usage scope is a little different, and working on my own MyAdmin API class is likely a time sink that I would be interested in undertaking. Something more official in the long term would be nice

When using the DeviceStatusInfoSearch for Diagnostics, it is possible to call the current value against DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId or DiagnosticEngineHoursAdjustmentId against every vehicle in a fleet, but unlike calling StatusData it doesn't appear to self-upgrade the response if ECM data is detected.  For example, using StatusData, if the deviceID has data in DiagnosticOdometerId, calculated from Raw Odometer + Adjustment + Offset, it will automatically provide DiagnosticOdometerId, not DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId let nowISO = (new Date).toISOString()

Hello. I'm not sure when it occurred, but I recently noticed that the excel template for the Import User SDK example has broken help columns for Groups and Reporting groups, where they formulars just show a REF error. I believe this will affect how users interact with this example.

Hello I've noticed that the Firmware version on the Device Setting page has lost the fourth digit, which was Parameter Version, and now the only method of checking in the UI is via the Audit logs for the update to this value.  Any chance of getting this back without having to raise something via Feedback hub 😀

As per the subject. I scaffolded the add-in using the generator-addin, I did add the Zenith React system and have been able to get the add-in to work under the dev environment it provided, but when I add the configuration to a database, the requests just ramp up like my add-in is being refreshed or some state I'm depending on is being reset and triggering fetching all the data again.  When testing, it will back about 150ish requests, but live it will cascade to 2000+ and hit the rate limits. I had added some fallback to delay requests if it hit a specific number, but it doesn't appear to work live.  The app flow is to get all database devices and check if they have the Iridium feature. Get the last stop date, and search over the last debug record of the IMEI number and Poll dates. I've made a similar add-in for submitting engine data for Custom Devices, but it didn't use React.  Happy to share what I can of the source code

MyGeotab SDK TextMessageSearch - Documentation inconsistency

Hello In playing around with the new Beta API runner - https://developers.geotab.com/myGeotab/runner - I've found it a little frustrating that whie the Output of the code will be displayed in the "Response" panel when calling console.log, it will not display in the browser Devtools console and as such getting the resulting Object structure is a little painful as I can only see the network calls.

User the examples for MyGeotab Urls found here https://developers.geotab.com/myGeotab/guides/MyGeotabUrls - I've been able to make a link to a report template that I can add to a Rule notification as the Rules are limited in scope to only Add Exception Reports, not a Log Data Report.  For the moment I've been using "dateRange:(interval:&lt;Today&gt;)" which is a good first option but I would prefer some method of ensuring "interval:custom,startDate: &lt;date1&gt;,endDate:&lt;date2&gt;" can always be UTC using the rule notification tokens which its not at the moment

I've attempted to diagnose how MyGeotab knows where a newline should be entered in the Comment files but the SDK only returns a flat string. Does it get interpreted as a Template literal somewhere as entering the newline escape appears to be escaped itself? Edit: Upon further inspection, there appears to be some form of text-to-html parsing process in MyGeotab that will add newlines for comments, I've been able to simulate what to expect when using JSON.stringify in the runner, it may not be 1:1 The trick would be how to ensure consistent results when appending additional comments to an existing comment on a device

I was just wondering if there was any method for identifying the Data Access setting for a User in the case that it's set differently from their Group settings. From some testing, I can see that the User Entity has the accessGroupFilter property set when it has a Data Access group and is missing this property when set to "Everything" but I've been unable to find out what the id from this property is set to.  -Ashley

I'm preparing a journey on developing some integrations for our client and was looking into the option of how to best track and report on usage and user access to the add-in functions.  Currently, the Audit Entity doesn't appear to have a specific Audit Type that would be suited for accessing Add-in usage/access logs would it be ok to just use the "Unknown" type or have to develop something specific for the Add-in being developed?

The nowISO variable creates the behaviour that occurs when the from date and to date are the same and it should pull the most current data for the requested metric. From my testing, it seems that StatusData has some logic to pull the more accurate reading, from My Understanding DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId is the base odometer from any manual edit on the Asset page, and DiagnosticOdometerId is the calculated odometer value of any data in DiagnosticRawOdometerId + the device's odometer offset value, where an ECM Odometer has been detected and reporting. If there is no ECM Odometer, only the DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId value, which I can test with.  If you have any range between from date and to date, it will return just DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId.  It's just an interesting quirk that StatusData has this odometer and engine hours correction logic for the response, but the DeviceStatusInfo with a Diagnostic array does not include this logic, even though it's requesting the last reported asset data. This is more of a question of why there is some return logic behind StatusData and not DeviceStatusInfo's Diagnostic array.

They had Green in column AI, but due to the groups being incorrectly named, such as "Company" rather than "Company Group", it was giving them some pain points. I managed to assist with it using a script of my own :D

This was only a thing since the UI dates to Zenth, and before that, was displayed inline with firmware version, but separated with the word parameter rather than a dot.  See an old screenshot I have from my own documentation 😀 <img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/069Pd00000xmgeBIAQ.png" alt="old ui parameter version number" />When I have time, I'll raise a Feedback hub case for this to be brought back for a better visual reference than sifting through audit logs and JSON data from the Get Device API

I found the issue. My CustomHook was attempting to do to much, fetch the initial data from Groups and Active Asset, track the current table page if more than 50 and then update the arrays to paginate through the list. Split these into two Effects one that set the the state for all data and another to update the paginated list.
