One of our specific groups/branches keeps being added to different assets not assigned to that group. I notice this so remove the unwanted group from the assets and within a day or two its reattached itself to the asset. I've checked logs to see if one of my team is doing this but there is no data/record of anyone doing this. (for example this asset is assigned to Auckland North but the Tokoroa group keeps attaching itself even after I remove it 24hrs ago).

Thank you for asking your question here in our community. There is a setting for rules where if an asset breaks the rule it can be assigned to a group automatically. I would look into the assets exception report and see what rules it has been breaking. Then go look at the notifications for those rules and see if there is a group assignment notification.
That is what comes to my mind first and probably a good place to start. Looking in the audit log would have been the other best place to start so its good you already checked that.

@EishiFUN Thanks heaps for that suggestion. It took me a little while but eventually found one of the rules had group assignment noted on one. Removed that notification and this morning checked and this fixed the issue. Thanks again.
@davemurray Hey no problem. I see this happen all the time where somebody accidentally puts this on one of the rules and then you are like who keeps adding these vehicles to this random group for no reason 😂.
