Trips History | Product Guide

Is there a document where I can find more information about Turn GPS receiver off and Turn external device off? These settings allow you to set a time from MyGeotab >> Assets >> Devices and Configuration for the GPS receiver to remain active after the ignition is turned off, whether it's 1 hour, 10 minutes, 4 hours, etc. Based on this, do you know how much power it consumes during that time period? Or is there a document that explains this in more detail? I looked in the product guide and the firmware guide but didn't find any information. Thank you😁

Is there currently a report in MyGeotab that allows you to view data such as:IgnitionEngine Road SpeedCoordinates (latitude and longitude) For example, you could get this report directly from the Measurements module to get the details. I don't know if there is any engine data that provides coordinates (I've never seen it). But I know we can use the trip history report, as it includes speed and coordinates, although this data only focuses on the trip and not in detail. The report still has the option to add rules such as ignition and road speed data. However, it will only show distance, duration, and number of rule events. It won't display data such as the exact mileage and ignition value of 1 or 0. Test image Do you think there's any way to get a report like this? (I've attached a sample image.) Thank you and greetings😁

Custom MyGeotab report from measurements

Hello everyone, I've recently had an issue with a user. I've noticed that an event appears in the HOS logs as SA. I've searched the abbreviations in the user guide, and I didn't see anything related to that. (I'll add an image.) Does this have to do with the roadside verification process from the Drive app?Is it the document shared with the DOT?Or is it part of some other configuration? At the same time, this appears in a one-day HOS log.Is this automatically deleted, or is it something the driver needs to do? I want to think it's "Shipment attached", but where does this come from? Regards 😁

What does the SA mean on a driver's HOS log in MyGeotab?

Reviewing the Geotab Company Overvie presentation, I see that the routing section has a new view/interface, as shown in the image. My questions are:Is this view currently available for MyGeotab? Is it an interface or module outside of MyGeotab?Do I need to log in somewhere? Is it a tool only available in certain locations? Is there a document that can provide more information about this tool? I look forward to your comments.😁

How can I get this route view in MyGeotab?

Reviewing the new Geotab Ace tool, we would like to know what is meant by "Questions remaining". Although a total of 200 are shown, Is this the limit for making queries in the tool? And if so, how often are they renewed or updated? Or will they be reactivated when the questions are finished?

Questions available limits in Geotab Ace

Good day, Is there a way to get the Advanced Exception Detail report column using the SDK tools? Through an API it is necessary to obtain that column to view in a third party system, searching in the SDK tools I did not find anything similar Does it currently exist or is it different to obtain the location data where the exception was presented? I add the reference images

How to extract the ExceptionDetailLocation column from MyGeotab using API with SDK?

Hi @misamc24 According to the document, Gemini is not yet compatible with Geotab Ace, and no upcoming dates have been mentioned; however, it has proven useful with ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Cursor, and Windsurf. I hope the information shared is useful. Gemini availability for Geotab MCP Connector

Previously, the MyGeotab user guide illustrated how the GO device calculates and represents trips in the trip history module. (As shown in the image or description) Description shown earlier in the guide: A trip ends when the vehicle stops and the engine is turned off. A trip also ends if the vehicle remains stationary for more than 200 seconds (approximately 3 minutes and 20 seconds) with the engine running........ This information has now been removed from the Spanish version of the guide. Users must now find this information in other articles. Will it be possible to restore this information, or is this a permanent change?

What is the difference between these three data points? last GPS record, last engine record, last device communication What values—or what key factors—are taken into account to provide this data? In MyGeotab, it is possible to obtain this information through reports such as the Advanced Device Report or Engine Data report. However, what are the main differences, and which values are considered? Regards🙌

Is it possible to tell from MyAdmin which phone carrier the SIM card is registered to? Or is there a tool that allows us to find out this information about the phone carrier? For example, in MyGeotab, we can determine which cellular network the device connects to; we can verify this information using the Collisions and log data module. However, in this case, once the device is registered in MyAdmin, is it possible to tell which carrier it belongs to? Regards 🙌
