Hey guys, I know there used to be an 'Authority Switcher' for driver's to switch their DOT/Authority info inside the Geotab Drive App but I believe it has been deprecated. Does anyone have a good workflow for driver's with multiple DOTs? Thanks!

@EishiFUN, When setting up the drivers, RFID is not an option. Would we just select "Custom." There are no details in the documentation, and we have a customer that is wanting to use their existing RFID badges. Thank you!

Hey Community, I have a customer asking about any Geotab Marketplace solutions that "requires/forces the driver to complete a DVIR". I know Geotab has some nice reporting regarding 'Missed DVIRs' & "Unassigned Vehicles' to help coach the drivers on logging in and completing their inspections but has anyone used a 3rd party solution (maybe WhipAround, RTA, etc) that "forces" driver's to complete their DVIRs? Thanks in advance for any info!

Hey community, Does anyone know if the Orbcomm trailer asset trackers have an integration with Geotab so that customers can see the trailer trips history/bread crumb trail within the Geotab map?

Geotab/Orbcomm Integration

Hey community! I have a client that is going to put some Go-Rugged on some equipment and was wondering if they turned on the 'Periodically turn on GPS' setting (under Advanced settings in the 'Asset Edit' page) how often this would "wake up" the GPS? They advised that the equipment may go weeks without being used and are thinking it may be a nice way to keep track of them if it updated location daily incase one was stolen or moved where it shouldn't be. TIA!

Good morning, a Geotab driver accepted drive time that was not his. How do I remove it from his logs?

Hey @Mcgall_238, I would check the Google/Apple Playstore to double check if the app was uninstalled.

All of a sudden the geotab app has gone from one of our drivers phones. When he went to log in, could not find the app. Any suggestions please

Hey @misamc24 , You can create a rule for vehicle's driving that don't have driver's assigned to them at that time. Condition: Distance of: • Driver "Unknown driver" where (Driving) > 1 mi Hope that helps!

All good!

Hey Community, Does anyone have any documentation on using the GO Focus Plus camera as an NFC reader? I'm thinking there's not much to it that the camera just needs to be 'Online' but just making sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks!
