Time Card Report

The Time Card Report helps you track asset work hours, gain insights into asset utilization, and manage asset assignments.

You can organize the Time Card Report by driver or by vehicle. Running the report by driver shows each driver’s activity per day, which may include multiple vehicles. Running the report by vehicle shows each vehicle’s activity per day, which may include multiple drivers if the vehicle is a shared asset.
Note: You cannot display both driver and vehicle activity in the same report. They must be run as two separate reports to generate both sets of data.

The report displays the following:

  • The date and time each vehicle or driver was active

  • The total time at work

  • The total driving time

  • The total idling time

  • The duration of time the vehicle or driver spent at non-customer and Customer locations
Note: The graph indicates what percentage of driver time was spent at customer versus non-customer locations. Hovering over the sections in the graph displays labels for each section with the corresponding duration and percentage. Assets that do not visit customer locations will simply have their non-customer duration listed in place of the graph.

The Time Card Report only displays data that falls within the vehicle’s work hours. If the vehicle’s work hours have not been configured properly, your report may have missing or extraneous data. Total time calculations may also differ since the Time Card Report counts idle time in both total trip time (when idling between trips) and as stop time (when idling at the end of a trip).

You can access the Time Card Report by navigating to Compliance > Time Card Report.
Note: The Time Card Report relies solely on vehicle movement and ignition status. It does not track driver time based on logins to the Drive App.
