Rules and video recordings

You can set up your rules to upload a video recording from a camera each time an event is recorded.

When video upload is enabled for a rule, your camera uploads video footage to MyGeotab every time the rule is triggered by an event. Event data from rules with video upload enabled include the video recording for future review. This is useful in cases such as a tailgating, where a fleet administrator can review the recording and determine whether the event was triggered accurately, or if the rule is too sensitive.
