New user onboarding

User onboarding allows new and existing users to enter information about themselves to customize their experience in MyGeotab.

When you log into your database for the first time, you can complete a guided workflow that collects information on your role and the actions you perform in order to provide personalized recommendations for you in MyGeotab. This helps the application present relevant information and options to you right from the start.

Based on your choices, MyGeotab provides key Quick Start Guides to help guide you through the features that are most applicable to your role. Each guide contains a number of in-app walkthroughs that introduce you to core workflows in the application and demonstrate how to use them. To help track your progress, a progress bar at the top of the Quick Start Guide panel tracks your progress through the suggested guides.

Existing users can also access the user onboarding feature at any time.

Note: User onboarding must be enabled by a database administrator before it can be accessed by users.
