IFTA reporting basics. Let's get started. If you have assets that drive between states, the International Fuel Tax Agreement or IFTA report is a great report to use for fuel tax purposes. IFTA applies to the 48 continental US states and 10 Canadian provinces. IFTA simplifies fuel tax reporting for inter-jurisdictional carriers operating heavy commercial assets. Click Compliance to run the IFTA report. Select IFTA Report. In Options, select a Date Period. Select which Vehicles to include in the report. Click Apply changes to view the results. The report displays information on the vehicle, jurisdiction, driver, enter time, exit time, enter odometer, exit odometer, and distance. Under Report, you can download the report in Excel or PDF format. Congratulations!  You've completed this tutorial for IFTA reporting basics.
