Using Geotab Data Connector with Excel

Using Geotab Data Connector with Excel! Let's get started. In MyGeotab, open the Reports section and select Data Connector. Click the "Copy Access URL" button in the Get Started section of the Excel tab. Further down the page, pick a template to start with and click its Download button. Locate the file in your Downloads folder, then click to open it. Under the Excel ribbon, click Enable Content, if needed. Click the Data ribbon tab. Click the Get Data dropdown. Select the "From OData Feed" option in the "From Other Sources" menu. Select the Basic radio button, if needed. Paste the Access URL you copied from MyGeotab earlier. Click OK. Click the Basic tab. Enter your user name according to the following format: MyGeotab Database Name, forward slash, MyGeotab Username. For example, db123/demo user@example.com. Enter your MyGeotab password. Leave the "Select which level to apply these settings to" dropdown on its default value. Click Connect. Close out of the Navigator. With your credentials set, click Refresh All in the Data ribbon tab. The template will populate with your data. Don't forget to save!
