Enabling built-in rules

Enabling built-in rules! Let's get started. Click Groups & Rules. Click Rules. You can toggle the built-in rules on or off. Built-in rules will be applied to every vehicle in your fleet. MyGeotab asks you to confirm whenever you enable or disable a built-in rule. It's important to note that disabling a rule removes previously logged data about times the rule was broken and may impact existing reports in the database. Some rules come with sliders to adjust their sensitivity. We recommend starting in the middle and adjusting from there based on your fleet objectives. You can also manually adjust the value to the right of the slider. Click Save when finished adjusting the rule.
