Creating a custom rule using logic! Let's get started. Click "Groups & Rules". Click "Rules". Click "Add". Enter a Name for the rule. You have the option to adjust the groups the exception rule will be published to. Click the Conditions tab. Add Conditions to your rule. In this example, let's create a rule that triggers when tire pressure reaches below 200,000 pascals. Click Engine data. Select "Measurement or Data". Click "Display All Diagnostics". Type "Generic Tire Pressure" in the Diagnostic field. Select "Generic tire pressure (LF)". Select "Under". Enter 200,000 in the Value field. Click "Add". With the first tire added, let's add the remaining three tires using "Or" logic. Click "More" to add "Or" logic to the rule conditions. Select "Or" from the list. Click Engine data. This time, select the "Generic tire pressure (LR)" measurement with a value under 200,000. Click "Add" when ready. Repeat adding the "Or" logic and "Engine data" condition for the remaining two tires: "Generic tire pressure (RF)" and "Generic tire pressure (RR)". With all four tires added, check the conditions for any errors. Use the "Advanced Conditions Editor" to make any edits. For example, you can clean up the code by removing any redundant elements. If you make any edits, review the conditions again to check for errors. Click Save when finished. Your new exception rule will be visible under the Advanced heading on the Rules page.
