Using the audit log in MyGeotab

Using the audit log in MyGeotab! Let's get started. Use the Audit Log feature to view notable activity within MyGeotab. This is useful for tracking changes to your account when multiple users have administration access. Click the profile icon in the top right. Select Audit Log. The Audit logs page provides a list of everything going on in your database. You can see a Description for each action, the User who performed it, and the Date and time the action occurred at. Click Filters to adjust which actions load. You can select a date period for the logs. You can also select the specific Audit types you want to see. Enter an Audit type to quickly locate it in the list. Multiple Audit types can be added to the filter. You can specify which Users you want to see logs from. Likewise, you can select which Assets to include in the log. Choose whether you want to Exclude system logs. Excluding system logs, makes it easier to track and find changes made directly by users. Include system logs when significant, yet infrequent, system-generated events are desired. Click Apply when ready. MyGeotab generates a list of logs for the selected filter options. Click Reports to download the filtered data. Select the type of report. A notice will appear in the top right to let you know the system is preparing the report. You can click Go to My Reports to track the progress. A second notice will appear in the top right when the report is ready. You can click Download now to get your report.
