Sending messages to assets or drivers

Sending messages to assets or drivers! Let's get started. The MyGeotab messaging feature enables communication between administrators in MyGeotab and drivers in the Drive App. Click messages. As an administrator, you can view messages that you have sent, messages that have been delivered, and messages that have been read. These messages are organized by Assets and Users. Click + Message to send a message. You can message users directly or message assets. Messaging an asset will allow any driver who logs into the asset to view the message. Mark the assets and users you would like to send this message to. Click compose message when ready. Enter your message. You can also provide canned responses for the driver, which will attach responses to the message as a set of options the driver can choose from. Click the canned reply icon to provide canned replies. Select an existing reply, or click "edit presets" to add new replies. Enter each canned reply on a new line, then click Add. Click send when finished composing your message. As drivers respond to messages, you will receive Notifications. In the Search box, you can enter a word or phrase to find a specific conversation. Click the Filter dropdown to further refine your results. In the Filter menu, you can select a Date Period, choose to only show Undelivered messages, and toggle whether to Include system messages.
