Managing jobs in a work order

Managing jobs in a work order! Let's get started. Click Maintenance. Click Work Order Management. On the Requests page, use the summary tiles to see actions such as Overdue requests. Click the Jobs tab. Use the Pending summary tile to see incomplete jobs. Click Filters to narrow down the list of jobs, if needed. In the left panel, select which filters to apply to the list. Click Apply when finished. Click on the Order reference for the related work order. Scroll down and select the job to manage. Jobs are work requests that have been assigned to a work order. The Priority of the job is set based on the Severity of the initial work request. You can select a different Priority, if needed. Use the dropdown to select a Job status. You can update the status as the job progresses. Select the Job started date once the work begins. Use the dropdown to select the type of service work accomplished for this job. Use the dropdown to select the VMRS system code for this job. Use the Description box to add more details or special notes to a job. Check the Currency and enter the cost details. This information can assist with repair costs analysis over time. The currency defaults to the user's preferred currency. You can update this in user settings. Enter any additional Notes and Attachments as needed. When the job is finished, set the Job status to Completed and enter the Job completed date. Click Save when finished updating the job details.
