Exploring the new Trips History

Exploring the new Trips History! Let's get started. Welcome to the new Trips History — your go-to place for reviewing where your assets have been and what happened along the way. Let's take a quick tour. Trips are organized into cards — one for each asset, for each day. This makes it easy to get a daily snapshot of any vehicle in your fleet. Trip times appear in the timezone set in your profile. And we're already working on an enhancement that will also show you the device's local timezone when it differs from yours — so stay tuned! Select any card to load that asset's full day of trips onto the map. You'll get a complete picture of everywhere it traveled. Use the playback bar at the bottom to replay the day's trips in sequence. Not interested in the timeline? You can hide it to keep your view clean. Select See details on any card to zoom into a specific trip. From there, you can replay individual segments and get a closer look at exactly what happened. If an exception was triggered during a trip, you'll see the exceptions icon on the card. Select it to view all the exceptions that occurred. Select any exception to view more details. View the full event details and pinpoint exactly where the exception occurred on the map. If your vehicles are equipped with cameras, the event details will include video playback — so you can see exactly what was captured at the moment of the exception. Once you've finished reviewing, select Clear Map to reset the view and start fresh with another asset or day. Looking for a specific trip? Open the Filters menu. Here, you can search by Assets, Asset Types, Drivers, or even Rules. At the bottom of the Filters menu, you can also narrow results by trip category — like Business or Personal. Use the Layers menu to search for specific zones or zone types and display them on the map alongside your trips. Spotted a location you want to mark? Select the Add zone icon to create a new zone right from Trips History — no need to navigate away. If you know roughly where a trip happened but aren't sure which asset or driver was involved, you can now launch Area Activity directly from Trips History. Want to learn more?
