Enabling built-in and custom rule notifcations

Enabling notifications for built-in or custom rules! Let's get started. Click Groups & Rules. Click Rules. Search for the rule you want to set up a notification for. If you are adding a notification to a built in rule, click the envelope icon. However, if you are adding a notification to a custom rule, click the name of the rule. If you want to send the rule exception notification as an email, click "Add email". Select a default email template, or a custom template you've created. Enter who you want to receive the email. Click Add when finished. If you want to add MyGeotab pop-up alerts, click "Add alert". Select the type of alert. Adjust the template and who you want to receive the notification. If you want to add audible driver feedback, click "add driver feedback". - Please note: If you want the go device to beep, you must enable the audio alerts for the asset. Select the type of driver feedback you want added to this notification. Click "more" for additional options. You have the option to add any of the following additional options to the notification. Click Save when finished. Click Notifications. If you want to send the rule exception notification as an email, click "Add email". Select the default email template, or a custom template you've created. Add who you want to receive the email. Click Add when finished. If you want to add MyGeotab pop-up alerts, click "Add alert".
