By starting their day with a proper HOS login, drivers can confidently track their available driving time, reduce the risk of violations, and contribute to overall fleet safety and efficiency. In this tutorial, learn how to log in to the Drive App while using Hours of Service. This covers shipments, verifying, edits, unassigned driving and the availability screens during the standard log in process while using HOS. Logging in to the Drive App with Hours of Service

Logging in to the Drive app with Hours of Service! Let's get started. After logging into the app, choosing a vehicle, and adding trailers, you can then add your Shipments. Tap plus next to shipments. Add the details of the Shipment. Be sure to include the Shipment Document Number if available. Tap Add to add the shipment. You may add up to 25 shipments in the same manner. Tap Continue when all Shipments have been added. Review the Vehicle, Trailers and Shipments. If all are correct,  tap 'Save and continue' to continue the login process. Next, if you are using the HOS Exempt feature, the Availability screen shows your current availability and allows access to this feature. See your Administrator for details on this exemption. The Availability screen will also show if you are low on hours to work. If you are also still ON Duty, you can quickly correct your logs from this screen. Tap in the red box to add a new duty status log. If you wish to skip this step, simply tap Continue. If adding a log, tap the Pencil icon to edit the date of the new log After changing the date on the new log, add an annotation to the log. Tap Add to insert the new log into your record and correct your availability, The Next step is to Verify any previous logs that remain Unverified. This page allows you to both verify logs, and accept carrier edits if present. Days that contain carrier edits will have Yellow headers. To accept a carrier edit and verify that days logs, click Accept and Verify. Tap agree to verify that day. If you are not ready to verify this day, tap Not Ready You can continue through the list, tapping 'Verify' on each day, or Tap "Verify all days' at the bottom of the list to verify all days in one action. You can also skip this step by tapping 'Skip'. Tap agree to verify all days. If you are not ready to verify, tap Not Ready The last step is to review Unassigned Logs. These logs are created when the vehicle moves and does not have a driver assigned. Review the dates and locations of the logs. If you should be the driver of record for any Unassigned logs, select them by tapping them. Note that D and ON logs are always paired together and will automatically select together. If none of the logs should be assigned to you, tap Skip Tap Assign to me to assign the selected logs to yourself Tap O K to complete the assignment or Cancel to return to the previous step After completing the Unassigned logs step, you will arrive at the Drive App Dashboard.
