A colleague of mine recently attended the Geotab conference where a new Fleet Safety layer was introduced. This would allow integration partners to feed safety events to Geotab.  I searched around the developer's API and knowledge base but have not been successful in finding any mention of this new integration option aside from the main Fleet Safety page here: https://www.geotab.com/fleet-management-solutions/fleet-safety/

Integration with new Fleet Safety GeoTab offering

Hey team,I am working on a Map Add-In page that will not utilize the right side panel but will strictly use the actions when clicking on a Device on the map (based on the example here). Instead of opening the right side panel with some content based on the selected action, I would like to open a modal in the center of the page. I attempted to retrieve the document object for the Map page by doing a const documentObject = elt.ownerDocument;But this will only retrieve the iframe:{

Map Add-In ability to create a modal

Team,I was able to create a Tab Add-In using the information I shared here but have been unable to link a Javascript file to said HTML page. The page itself is loading properly from what I can tell when selecting the Add-In tab, but that is all. I reviewed the GeoTab SDK and attempted to implement the Javascript file using the following template: https://community.geotab.com/s/question/0D52J00009iBdpaSAC/addin-tab-items?language=en_US I know that button Add-Ins have a different Javascript template so where does a Tab Add-In fall? Will it not have an initialize, focus, and blur event? I also reviewed the examples here though Tab Add-In example is not implemented Thanks in advance!

I am now able to see the Safety Center offering as a feature preview. However, I do not see any updated API documentation for how to send data to the Safety Center from an integration

I was hoping to launch a dialog to allow for media access without being limited to the size of the right side panel OR opening a separate tab that may break the UX for users. Given the nature of the Map Add-In, I wasn't sure if the supplied service had a way to interface back to the main page. I did see the following <a href="https://github.com/Geotab/sdk-map-addin-samples/blob/master/page/addin.js#L58" target="_blank">here</a> that I will test with, though I was hoping something may have already been implement that wasn't in the developer guide

I was able to create the Tab Add-In correctly, but the issue I'm facing is with the actual addin.html. It seems as though the typical lifecycle events for the page are not being triggered the way they do in a Page Add-In (mirroring the example in the SDK found <a href="https://community.geotab.com/s/question/0D52J00009iBdpaSAC/addin-tab-items?language=en_US" target="_blank">here</a>). Is there a different way to structure the html for Tab Add-Ins?
