When a driver makes an error, such as selecting the wrong status or forgetting to transition out of it at the right time, it can lead to inaccurate logs. Previously, you might have been stuck with an incorrect log entry with no way to fix it. To solve this, we've introduced the ability for authorized users to edit Yard Move and Personal Conveyance exemptions directly in MyGeotab and the Drive App.

Authorized users can now shorten or completely remove a Yard Move or Personal Conveyance period when a mistake happens. Instead of being locked into an incorrect entry, you can adjust the period to reflect what actually occurred during the trip. The system will then automatically handle the driving time breakdown for you.

This update gives your fleet administrators and authorized drivers the flexibility to easily correct honest mistakes. By allowing direct edits, you can maintain highly accurate, compliant records while fully preserving the integrity of your audit trail. It saves time and reduces administrative frustration, so you can keep your focus on safety and compliance.
