Creating an email notification template

Creating an email notification template! Let's get started. Navigate to the Rules page in MyGeotab by either selecting Groups & Rules, then Rules, or searching for Rules in the menu. Select Notification templates to view, create, and manage the available templates. Open the add menu in the top right to start a new template you can customize for the appropriate audience and event. Select Add email template from the list. Enter a clear, descriptive name so others can identify the template and its purpose when managing notifications. Enter a concise subject line, using the Available Tokens to clearly tell recipients what the notification is about. Enter the email message, then use Available Tokens to add relevant details to the notification. Attach an Event report when recipients need supporting event details along with the notification. Review the template, then select Save when finished. Verify that your new email template appears in the Notification Templates list. You can now use this template with rules, where recipients will receive the notification when rule conditions are met.
