I'm trying to locate fuel consumption data while using the Geotab API adapter. When I log into MyGeotab.com, I can find fuel-related information, but I am unable to find any fuel-related data or the corresponding tables via the API adapter.I need this data to calculate MPG (Miles Per Gallon). I have already located the odometer data required for the calculation. I initially assumed the fuel data might be in the Diagnostics table, but it doesn't appear to be there.Could someone please guide me on where to find this fuel data or suggest alternative tables that might contain this information?Thank you for your assistance!

Locating Fuel Consumption Data via Geotab API Adapter

Hello everyone,I'm currently using the MyGeotab API Adapter to retrieve raw data, specifically through the "appsettings.json" file. However, I've noticed in the data dictionary that this setup doesn't include information on the posted speed limit. Has anyone encountered and solved this issue? Any insights or suggestions on retrieving the max road speed data would be greatly appreciated!Thank you!

Assistance with Retrieving Max Road Speed Using MyGeotab API Adapter

Hello, I am able to connect to Geotab using the Api adapter. How can I use the Api to pull specific reports?

How to pull certain reports using the Geotab adapter API

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently working on establishing a connection from Microsoft SQL Server to my.geotab.com using the MyGeotab API Adapter. While following the instructions provided in the video tutorial, I've encountered a roadblock—I'm unable to establish a connection to the Geotab database. After several attempts to adjust my connection string, I'm still encountering errors indicating connection failures. I suspect the issue may lie with the connection string configuration. Could you please provide guidance or suggestions on how to correctly configure the connection string for the MyGeotab API Adapter? Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Eishi, Thank you for sharing the link. I've reviewed it prior to posting my question. As mentioned, I've already located the fuel data within Geotab, so I know it exists. My goal is to retrieve fuel consumption data using the Geotab Adapter API, which I'm currently utilizing. Specifically, I'm trying to calculate MPG (miles per gallon) for the vehicles. Could you please guide me on pulling the fuel consumption data effectively?

Hello, are you referring to line 4 where the login information is located? If so, I intentionally left that blank. Have you successfully retrieved the road speed limit using the suggestion mentioned?

Hello Eishi,I have developed a Python script intended to retrieve the posted speed limits using theGetPostedRoadSpeedsForDeviceAPI endpoint. Despite using my login credentials and the specified deviceID, the script repeatedly fails, indicating "invalid login credentials." These credentials work without issue when accessing the main Geotab website.Could you connect me with someone at Geotab who has successfully used this API? I would appreciate guidance on troubleshooting this issue.Thank you for your help.

Hello I tried to fill out the support ticket but it did not go through. So, yes I need help thank you.

I've thoroughly reviewed the data dictionary and written an SQL query to retrieve the specific columns I need from the database. Despite my efforts, I still cannot locate these fields. The columns in question are from an Excel sheet sourced from Geotab. Could someone assist me in resolving this issue? If I'm extracting data from Geotab, why are the fields I'm looking for missing? I've attached an image showing only 6 out of 15 exist in the database.  <img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/069Pd000007WzvhIAC.png" alt="Missing Fields" />

Great, since it's connected, I should be able to access all the data I need. I'll go ahead and create the report on my end. For instance, Geotab sends me an Excel file with the necessary columns for the report I need to recreate in Microsoft SQL Server. However, I'm unable to locate a specific column labeled "Device". Should I make adjustments in the appsettings.json file to resolve this issue?
