Setting up Geotab MCP Connector with Claude

Setting up Geotab MCP Connector with Claude! Let's get started. Please note that we are going to show how to connect to your personal Claude account. If your company has an enterprise one or a different provider, you will need to work with your IT department to configure your organization's LLM to connect to the MyGeotab MCP. Click the Menu icon in the top left of the Claude desktop app. Click your name at the bottom of the list. Select Settings. Under the Customize heading, click Connectors. Click Add in the top right. Select Add custom connector. Enter a Name for the connector, such as MyGeotab. For the Remote MCP server URL, enter https://mcp.geotab.com/mygeotab. Click Add. Click Connect. Log in to Claude online, if needed. Claude will redirect you to MyGeotab to log in to your database. Enter your Username or Email, then click Next. Once you've logged in to MyGeotab, you'll be taken back to the Claude desktop app. Now that Claude's connected to your database, you can set its Tool permissions. And that's it!
