Creating a distribution list

Creating a distribution list! Let's get started. Navigate to the Rules page in MyGeotab by either selecting Groups & Rules, then Rules, or searching for Rules in the menu. Select Distribution lists to view, create, and manage the available lists. Select the add button in the top right to start a new list you can customize for the appropriate audience and event. Enter a clear, descriptive Name so you and others can easily identify the distribution list and its purpose. Choose the notification type that best matches how recipients should receive information from this distribution list. Some notification types require a Template and recipients. Choose the appropriate template and confirm that all intended recipients are included. Review the notification type, Template, and recipients, then select Add when ready. Add more notifications when this distribution list needs to send updates through multiple channels or to different recipient groups. Review each notification in the distribution list, including its notification type, Template, and recipients, then select Save when finished. Your distribution list is now ready to use with rule notifications, where selected recipients will receive updates when the rule conditions are met. Congratulations!
